Especially during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910), Bangjja (방짜), also called Yugi (유기) tableware was commonly used notably by the families of royalties and nobles for its superb quality and beautiful lustre. Today, brass may be found in some high-end traditional Korean establishments, as well as in handcrafted jewellery.
