Nuruk Linen Dress
Nuruk Linen Dress
Nuruk (누룩) is a traditional Korean fermentation starter used in making makgeolli and even soju. Wheat, rice and barley are the most common ingredients of nuruk.
Beautiful, organic linen from South Korea.
Perfect for all your festive gatherings and brunch dates. Embodying Saero Collective's minimalist design ethos and made to resemble the character of grainy nuruk. A panelled A-line design, form-fitted at the bodice while flaring out at the waistline to flatter its wearer, emphasising a narrow waist and wider hip.
Linen's natural colour - variegated shades of ivory, oatmeal, grey, beige and ecru - greatly resemble the colours in nuruk and makgeolli. Durable, absorbent and dries faster than cotton, linen is a popular choice to wear even in hot weather.

Material & Care
Material & Care
Composition: 55% linen, 45% cotton, inner lining is cotton
Kindly note that linen is a natural fibre derived from flax plant. As such, many factors during harvest affects the colour of the finished fabric. There may be extremely small and not so visible thread color difference when you look closely at some parts of the fabric or the presence of slubs - tiny little globules dotted along the weave. This is normal and part of the mark of true organic linen.
These are naturally-occurring and the mark of true linen. This organic, irregular look is often part of linen’s main appeal.
Machine-made linen fashioned from polyester will not have any slubs at all. Slubs do not compromise the integrity of the fabric and are not viewed as a defect. Some may be tempted to cut off these slubs, unless done by a professional, the damage is irreversible. We do not recommend that you cut them off but rather appreciate them as a true mark of real natural flax linen.
/ Separate wash colours from white/light linen to prevent colour run
/ Wash in cold water to avoid shrinkage
/ Avoid wringing item to prevent creases
/ Iron whilst damp or with the steam setting
/ Can be dry-cleaned
