Boricha (보리차), a caffeine-free barley tea, is a staple of everyday life deeply rooted in Korean culture. Traditionally enjoyed for its comforting and hydrating qualities, boricha is brewed from roasted barley grains. Our version is made with premium-quality barley, roasted more heavily to enhance its robust flavor and depth.  The resulting brew is a rich, aromatic infusion with notes of rice and nuts, and perfect for any time of day.

Taking over the tea farms from her grandmother, Ms Ha is the youngest of tea farm owners in Hadong. Running a modern glass teahouse high in the mountains of Jirisan, she exudes a calm and quiet confidence as she shares about the habit of drinking boricha daily and the health benefits of mint tea. Ms Ha takes great pride in continuing her grandmother’s business producing high quality tea while hoping to modernise the tea experience for the next generation.
