Reap And Sow

Reap And Sow

Welcome to our third chapter as we approach the year-end.

We received so much love for our last chapter Hottest Days Of Summer, with almost every design selling out. It is incredibly heartening and we sincerely hope you found joy and comfort in our easy-breezy designs. And found rest and respite too during the toiling days of a summer past.

Continuing from the theme of hard work by farmers in the last collection of Nongsa, we now transition into fall, where we are all hoping to be rewarded with cooler days. As we pieced together the stories and designs we wanted to express in this next chapter, the concept of Reap And Sow was a common theme.

In each of the five upcoming collections, we will explore different concepts of hard work and rewards, against the backdrop of fall and winter, which are the seasons of tomorrow.

You'll find lots of beige and brown tones in outerwear, dresses and separates embodying the romantic mood of autumn. We're also adding 925 silver and gold-plated brass jewellery to widen our accessories range - they're going to be so perfect for the upcoming gifting season.

Join us as we explore different concepts of reward after hard work in five drops -

In some of the campaign shots, you would've gotten a sneak of what's to come. We've already started off with an exclusive FW outerwear capsule from Seoul, for the cooler days of tomorrow.

Soon we'll be releasing many more beautiful pieces in fall tones of beige and browns, as well as Saero's staple colours of white, grey and black.

Read on if you'd like to know more about Reap And Sow.

Typically, to reap is to 'gather crop' and to sow is to 'plant seeds'. We are all in our own ways planting seeds in hope to gather bountiful crop one day. We all work hard today to be rewarded tomorrow.

While perhaps the common definition of reward often comes in big grandiose forms such as monetary bonuses, material items we buy to reward ourselves or a long-awaited trip overseas, rewards can also come in the smallest simplest forms and can also be more gratifying - a casual but enjoyable drink with a friend after a long day, a well-deserved meal after a workout, or even just having some personal free time after a mad schedule, coming into possession of the freedom to daydream the possibilities of tomorrow.

Many of us are still busy labouring to wrap up the end of the year, awaiting a well-deserved reward after all the hard work. We hope that you'll reap all the bountiful rewards you deserve from the seeds you sow today.

We also wish you all the big and small moments of joy, as you reap and sow.
